Continuing to Make “Her” Story at Anywhere
March 8, 2023
At Anywhere, we proudly serve as champions of diversity in our industry and beyond. March 8th is International Women’s Day, and we recognize the talented and innovated female leaders and staff who are an integral piece to our company's success as well as the efforts made by Anywhere to further our progress in building a diverse community.
In August, HousingWire honored four female leaders from Anywhere as part of their 2022 Women of Influence: Stephanie Anton, president of Corcoran Affiliate Network, Liz Gehringer, president of Coldwell Banker Affiliate Business and Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Tanya Reu-Narvaez, Anywhere Chief People Officer and Sue Yannaccone, Anywhere Brands President and Chief Executive Officer. Sue is also the founder of ‘What Moves Her’, a trailblazing campaign designed to inspire and help women in real estate develop their leadership skills and realize their professional development goals.
In the Anywhere 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, it is noted that approximately 4,000 women in real estate participate in What Moves her. “What Moves Her has become an incredible platform,” Ms. Yannaccone shares, “not only to help women grow in every stage of their career, but also to encourage women to support each other across the real estate industry.” The rapid growth and success of the What Moves Her community is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of every single one of its members.
Also available to all Anywhere employees, Anywhere supports women in business by providing an Employee Resource group inspiring women to feel empowered, valued, and engaged. Providing education, conversation and resources, the Women’s ERG is designed to help members to advance their skills and leadership potential through mentoring, networking and development.
Anywhere is consistently recognized for our industry leadership and culture rooted in innovation, inclusion, and integrity and in 2022, the company once again earned honors as a Forbes World’s Top Female Friendly Companies. Our employee base is overwhelmingly 70 percent female, our senior leaders are comprised of 45.3 percent women, our Board of Directors is 36 percent female, and our Executive Management Committee is made up of 50 percent women. The Anywhere Board of Directors has been honored four times by the Women’s Forum of New York for exceeding the national average and surpassing the 35 percent threshold of women on its Board.
Through our ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, we at Anywhere are proud of the progress we’ve made and are anxious to continue developing as an inclusive and diverse place to work.
